Threadless Steering System, Also known as the AHEAD SET: 1-1/8” (28.6mm) is the most common size, but can also be 1-1/4” (31.75mm).

Quill Stem: 7/8” (22.2mm), Classic “Goose Neck” is fitted using a 7/8” (22.2mm) Quill Stem Spacer, sold separately.

1-inch Stem: (25.4mm), Similar to the Classic Goose Neck, but slightly larger, fitted using a 1-inch (25.4mm) spacer, sold separately.

For Non-Round Top Tubes:

Universal-Fit Receiver: Maximum Circumference is 7-1/2"(190mm). This diameter can be doubled by using two clamps.

Another way to measure:

Use a flexible measuring tape and measure the circumference and then divide by 3.14.  If you don't have a flexible measuring tape, you can use a piece of tape to wrap the tube, then measure the length and divide by 3.14.
